Filming Wraps for Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Historic Drama 'Ranabaali'

The shooting for the highly anticipated period action drama 'Ranabaali', starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has officially been completed. The production house, Mythri Movie Makers, announced the wrap-up on social media alongside a newly released poster featuring the lead pair, signalling the final 29-day countdown to its worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is set against the backdrop of the 1876–1878 Madras Famine and British colonial resistance in the Rayalaseema region. Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular rebel Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays his partner Jayamma. The project also marks the Indian cinema debut of South African actor Arnold Vosloo, known worldwide for his role in 'The Mummy' franchise.

The multi-lingual feature will be released simultaneously in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The completion of principal photography marks the transition into intensive post-production and worldwide promotional campaigns as fans eagerly await the return of the popular screen pairing.
