Manoranjan Ravichandran and Pruthvi Ambaar Team Up for 'Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu'
Kannada cinema is set to witness a fresh screen pairing as actors Manoranjan Ravichandran and Pruthvi Ambaar come together for the first time in the upcoming film titled 'Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu'. Directed by debutant filmmaker Sunil Rudraprabha, the project is framed as a village-centric drama that delves into rural relationships, community dynamics, and local conflict. Manoranjan Ravichandran, son of veteran actor V. Ravichandran, leads the cast as the central protagonist, while Pruthvi Ambaar takes on a contrasting role as the antagonist, marking a notable shift in his on-screen repertoire.
Adding to the film's pan-Indian interest, Malayalam actor Aparna Das has been cast as the female lead, marking her official debut in Kannada cinema. Known for her performances in prominent Tamil and Malayalam releases such as 'Beast' and 'Dada', her inclusion was formally announced by the production team on her birthday. According to the makers, the story explores deep-rooted rural traditions and interpersonal conflicts, contrasting the lead characters through sharply defined narrative arcs.
The project highlights a growing trend within Sandalwood, where established performers are taking on non-traditional character dynamics, such as protagonist versus antagonist setups between popular young leads. Industry observers note that bringing together familiar Sandalwood actors alongside talent from neighboring language industries reflects a broader strategy to enhance regional storytelling and widen theatrical reach. Pre-production work for the film has been completed, with principal shooting scheduled to begin across locations in rural Karnataka.
