NVIDIA Reports Record $96.2 Billion Revenue in Q2 as Global AI Hardware Surge Accelerates
Semiconductor titan NVIDIA Corporation reported record-breaking financial results for its second quarter ended July 26, 2026, delivering $96.2 billion in total quarterly revenue. The figure represents an 18% sequential increase from the previous quarter and a massive 106% jump compared to the same period last year. Driven primarily by global hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and enterprise operations expanding their artificial intelligence infrastructure, NVIDIA's Data Center business segment alone generated $89.0 billion, up 117% year-over-year.
NVIDIA's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jensen Huang, highlighted that compute capabilities have become the primary revenue-generating asset for technology enterprises worldwide. He noted that AI technologies have crossed a pivotal inflection point, expanding beyond isolated software labs into a global ecosystem encompassing frontier research labs, sovereign cloud projects, and physical AI implementations. To sustain this momentum, NVIDIA confirmed that its next-generation Vera Rubin compute platform has entered full production, designed to meet ultra-large-scale parameter training and inference demands.
Looking ahead, the Santa Clara-based technology giant issued strong guidance for the upcoming quarter, forecasting revenue of approximately $108 billion. Management also indicated that strong enterprise interest could support up to 70% revenue growth into fiscal year 2028. During the second quarter, NVIDIA returned roughly $26.0 billion to shareholders through stock repurchases and cash dividends. As the global technology sector transitions from experimental AI modeling to full-scale enterprise inference deployments, NVIDIA continues to solidify its role as the critical hardware foundation for the modern AI economy.
