Poco Launches F9 Ultra and F9 Pro Flagship Smartphones with 200MP Camera and 185Hz Display
Smartphone manufacturer Poco has officially expanded its flagship hardware lineup with the global unveiling of the Poco F9 Ultra and Poco F9 Pro. Designed as high-performance devices for mobile gamers and tech enthusiasts, the new smartphones feature major technological advancements in display responsiveness, processing power, and mobile photography.
The flagship Poco F9 Ultra introduces a massive 6.9-inch 185Hz AMOLED display with Poco's proprietary HyperRGB technology and M11 luminescent material, capable of reaching up to 10,000 nits peak brightness for high-dynamic-range content. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with a dedicated VisionBoost D8 graphics acceleration chip and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
A primary highlight of the F9 Ultra is its triple-camera setup, which debuts Poco's first 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Audio performance is enhanced through a 2.1-channel speaker system tuned in partnership with Bose. To support high workloads, the smartphone houses an 8,050mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge wired fast charging. The sibling Poco F9 Pro shares the 185Hz screen and 200MP camera system with a 6,330mAh battery.
The launch underscores fierce competition in the premium smartphone category, where manufacturers are pushing hardware limits with higher refresh rates and larger silicon-carbon battery packs.
