Prashanth Neel Confirms 'KGF 3' Screenplay Is Ready, Filming to Wait for Star Availability
Acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel has provided a major update regarding the hugely anticipated blockbuster sequel 'KGF: Chapter 3', confirming that the film's screenplay is officially complete. Speaking in a recent media interaction, the director put an end to speculation about whether the third installment would move forward, confirming that the story framework was locked prior to the teaser included at the end of 'KGF: Chapter 2'.
However, despite the script being ready, fans of the Kannada cinema blockbuster will have to wait before seeing Rocky Bhai return on screen. Neel explained that the production schedule depends heavily on clearing the packed schedules of the core creative team, including lead star Yash.
Currently, Yash has wrapped up work on 'Toxic' and is deeply involved in 'Ramayana: Part 1', while Neel is directing 'Dragon' featuring Jr NTR, with subsequent directorial commitments lined up including 'Salaar 2'. Neel stressed that Yash is extremely cautious about protecting the franchise's legacy and will not rush the project purely for commercial gains. The confirmation reassures fans about the franchise's future while setting realistic expectations regarding its timelines.
