Samsung Unveils 'AI Living' Vision and Next-Gen Smart Tech Ahead of IFA 2026
Samsung Electronics officially kicked off its off-site showcase ahead of IFA 2026 in Berlin, introducing its updated vision centered on 'Companion to AI Living.' At the dedicated Samsung CONNECT event hosted at Humboldt Carré, the global technology leader unveiled a suite of artificial intelligence-powered consumer electronics, smart home appliances, and personal computing devices designed to deliver practical, everyday benefits to users.
Among the key highlights of the showcase was Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI Washer lineup. The new high-efficiency washing machines achieve energy savings up to 70% beyond EU Class A benchmarks, combining advanced thermal management algorithms with space-saving flat front designs engineered to align seamlessly with modern kitchen cabinetry. The tech firm also demonstrated its next-generation Micro RGB display technology alongside Vision AI Companion features for its smart television range, enabling conversational control and context-aware media interactions.
On the mobile and computing front, Samsung presented the new Galaxy Book6 series and the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone, together with industry-first Odyssey gaming monitors. Addressing media and partners in Berlin, Benjamin Braun, Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Europe, emphasized that artificial intelligence must move past showroom novelty to offer tangible value, such as optimizing power usage, simplifying daily routines, and enhancing digital privacy.
The event reflects a broader trend across global technology platforms toward deeply integrated hardware ecosystems running on-device and hybrid AI processing. As IFA 2026 opens to global visitors at Messe Berlin, Samsung's expanded lineup illustrates how consumer electronics brands are embedding contextual AI capabilities directly into daily household living.
