KVIC holds 'Khadi Diwali Fest-2026' at Connaught Place to draw Gen-Z to Swadeshi products
Under the theme 'Khadi-wali Diwali', KVIC Chairman Manoj Goel urged families and young people to choose Khadi this festive season.
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission organised the 'Khadi Diwali Fest-2026' at NDMC Palika Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi, with KVIC Chairman Manoj Goel as chief guest.
Held under the theme 'Khadi-wali Diwali', the event aims to encourage people to buy Khadi and Swadeshi products during Diwali and other festivals, give more recognition to artisans and rural entrepreneurs, and connect young people with the Swadeshi movement.
Goel said that if every family prioritises Khadi and other Swadeshi products during the festive season, the benefits reach millions of artisans, weavers and rural entrepreneurs. He specially urged Gen-Z to join the movement.
